An introduction to renewable and non-renewable resources, for teachers.
Includes a suggested lesson sequence.
This activity asks students to decide what resources are and to examine different perspectives.
Resources For Schools

Resource Use & Sustainability
Student run a paper aeroplane folding relay, considering the factors involved in sustainability of a resource.
Students explore PV cells, energy flow and the use of solar energy in space exploration. They also examine light intensity, through a short experiment. Finally, they investigate the efficiency of fixed solar panels throughout the year (note: we recommend customising this to your local area).
Students review the concept of renewable and non-renewable resources by completing definitions, short answer questions and a word sleuth; full of important terms.
